Research

The Matheson Center for Health Care Studies advances multidisciplinary research on health care delivery, health economics, population health, and health policy. Our work uses quantitative, qualitative, geospatial, legal mapping, and economic methods to evaluate health systems, programs, and policies. By connecting researchers, practitioners, and decision-makers, the Center produces evidence that informs policy and improves population health in Utah and across the United States.
